We invite you to spend an evening with us exploring a selection of charismatic contemporary oranges across many regions and styles. So what’s an orange wine? In short, a white made like a red. These wines are becoming increasingly admired, and for good reason. Made for centuries, orange wine fell out of fashion in the last 100 years as too rustic. Recently rediscovered and restored to its glory with the help of Georgia, that mecca of skin-contact, orange is sweeping Europe and the entire globe, including Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Greece and even South Africa. When tasting and talking about our wines, we’ll inevitably touch on the technology behind them and how it differs from other methods. So this tasting is a chance to understand more about the winemaking process, too – and not just for oranges. Delicious, aromatic and bursting with character, some of these wines are bound to surprise you with smells and flavors you have never tasted before. We’ve paired them with a selection of our home-made snacks to accompany our tasting.
