Why we chose it?

The very beginning of a wonderful journey. This 2003 Ampeleia is the second vintage of the vineyard’s first ever wine, created back in 2002. These elegantly mineral wines are quintessentially Tuscan. Complex and layered, they’re characterized by a generous aroma of forest berries, oaky notes and superb velvety tannins. Take this unique opportunity to step back in time and explore where it all began. With its immense ageing potential, today this 2003 Ampeleia is a real treasure.

Morgon Corcelette is youthful, fruity and extremely delicious fusion of blackcurrants, cherries, and a blend of spices such as cinnamon, clove, pepper and vanilla. Made with the utmost care and precision, this composed, elegant wine maintains great balance and harmony: a medium acidity, fine tannins, energetic, yet not too intense. Mee Godard creates this wine from very old Gamay grapes, and there’s no doubt that does them justice! Corcellette is as pure as it comes, with no sulphites added.
