Why we chose it?

Deeply purple in color, a medium to full-bodied and laced with tones of black currant – this wine feels like a concentrated jammy Indian summer. At the same time, you might pick up notes of vanilla and new oak. Grippy tannins. This is an energetic, youthful red with a medium to high acidity that would go exceedingly well with red meats and game.

Morgon Corcelette is youthful, fruity and extremely delicious fusion of blackcurrants, cherries, and a blend of spices such as cinnamon, clove, pepper and vanilla. Made with the utmost care and precision, this composed, elegant wine maintains great balance and harmony: a medium acidity, fine tannins, energetic, yet not too intense. Mee Godard creates this wine from very old Gamay grapes, and there’s no doubt that does them justice! Corcellette is as pure as it comes, with no sulphites added.
