You haven’t even had the chance to smell it, yet that fascinating hazy orange color has already stolen your heart. Once poured, this wine exudes powerful, but gentle aromas of Turkish delight. Dive a little deeper, and there’s a whole layer of wonderful herbs and flowers. The flavor is pleasantly acidic and moderately intense. Long sweet-spicy aftertaste. Unfiltered and bottled without any SO2. A succulent treat all-round.

A new vintage of our favorite red blend by Dobrá Vinice. It’s lighter red that doesn’t bite. Vibrant, with a rich intense aroma of hibiscus and rosehip, and an elegant smoky side.

One of the best examples of Moravian orange wines. First fermented and aged for 9 months with skins, seeds and stems in a beeswax-coated Georgian qvevri amphora (a great place to spend your teenage years if you’re a young and promising natural wine) and then matured for a whole year in oak barrels. All this – to let Chardonnay blossom in a new way, creating an extremely complex, aromatic, and soft wine with an excellent structure, gentle tannins, and notes of orange and honey. Premium, collectable stuff.

A pure low-intervention pet-nat with personality. This refreshing blend of Riesling and Welschriesling spent 18 months on lees which were taken out before bottling to create a clear, elegant and fun sparkling wine. The flavor is acidic, fruity and floral. Chill well and enjoy.

This juicy Pinot Gris from Marada’s limestone vineyards spent 10 months on lees in old oak barrels to gain its lovely structure and complexity (you know, the ‘hmm… interesting’ bit). In one swirl, it blossoms into a meadow of summer herbs and flowers. Well-structured and gastronomic, pairs very well with food.

Pet-nats are unpredictable and crafting a good one needs some serious skill. This one gives you a mouthful of fruit with a cheeky sparkle and some nice country-style yeastiness. A bit of a prankster, but even your mum likes him. And no wonder she does, his parents raised him as a strict biodynamic. Definitely a well-crafted pet-nat.

The result is this juicy and highly mineral wine that pairs easily with mains and starters or casual snacks.

A charming weirdo. Born from a blend of Pinot Noir and macerated Pinot Gris, this rosé came out dark and rich, with hints of Indian spices and sandalwood, and a sweet-sour touch of stewed cherries.

Ok, so Koráb’s idea of ‘gold’ is Riesling and Sauvignon suffused with grape skins and matured for 6 months in barrels of acacia. We kinda see his point. Skin contact gave this wine a beautiful golden hue. Easy, fresh and fruity, it exudes dried apricot and yellow flowers, and has a nice acidity. Safe choice if you are not yet convinced with natural wines.

Neuburger is a traditional grape variety born in the vineyards of Austria's beautiful Wachau valley on the Danube, and was once widely cultivated in Czechia. A really floral and incredibly easy-going gastronomic wine.

Say that again? MAL-VE-RI-NA. A new and rare grape variety from Moravia of the fungus-resistant PIWI type. Pure, honest, with a full, well-rounded flavor and a touch of ripe apples. So rustic it would look great in a battered old straw hat. Looks even better in a glass though.

With this 2019 Veltliner, the Sklep guys created a truly memorable rustic wine that feels like sitting on a haystack in the setting sun on a warm summer’s day. Herbal, with a gentle prickle of minerality and a touch of honey, this wine leaves a long, dreamy aftertaste. Fermented with grape skins for 2 months and aged for 9 months in oak barrels. As always, no fining, filtration or SO2.

Normally a burgundy wines guy, Jaroslav blended Riesling with Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc into this Akácia Cuvée and aged the wine in his signature acacia barrels. The result is a juicy white with a high vibrant acidity, breathing with green herbs and citrus fruit. A great easy going wine to pair with food.

An elegant Pinot Gris from old vineyards that tastes aaaalmost conventional. But don't be fooled. Creamy, fruity and zesty on the nose, and light yet flavorful on the palate, this wine exudes originality for the keen taster. It's been oak matured, you can taste that too.
