Cabernet Franc 2019

The clay-rich soils of Ampeleia’s “Donkey Vineyard” are producing Cabernet Franc at its finest. Perfectly balanced, with a delectable medium to full body, embracing crisp and bright fruit notes. A keen palate may pick up some earthiness too. This wine has a rather unique little touch to it: a wonderful, menthol note that stays present throughout this sensory adventure. Combine this with the ripe, granular tannins and viola! Something surprisingly different. Ampeleia have been broducing this wine since 2014. With just 7500 bottles for each vintage, they sell out pretty quick!
