In this cuvée, Champagne Solemme have combined nature’s mysteries with technical perfection to create a pure, refreshing champagne with an elegant mineral resonance. This 100% organic Chardonnay from two premier cru villages (fancy archaic French for villages with superior grape quality) of Villers aux Nœuds and Chamery in Montagne de Reims, has been grown and handled in accordance with biodynamic principles.
The first release of the 2016 vintage is in Magnum. 4 years on lees. Limited availability.

The tiniest of bubbles create a fine mousse on this golden-lemon shaded delight. On the nose a lovely array of floral and citrus aromas can be detected. Xpressió's medium body supports a balanced mix of both the sweet and the sour on a smooth earthy base. Green fruits and honey mix nicely with a gentle creaminess. Moderate acidity carries this beverage quite nicely into a medium-long finish. A well rounded Brut that combines well with lighter dishes such as lean fish, shellfish and aperitifs.
